A seventh man has no detectable HIV in his body after he was treated for acute myeloid leukaemia.
The man, who prefers to remain anonymous, was given a stem cell transplant in 2015.
Previously, six other people have been 'cured' of HIV after a stem cell transplant for cancer treatment (see BioNews 1199, 1133 and 1131).
